Middlemead, Bookham

Planning achieved for construction of 79 suburban homes.

On behalf of Circle Housing Tully De’Ath have worked alongside PRP Architects to readdress the utilisation and massing of the Bookham Estate. With current housing stock erected as temporary accommodation during the 1940’ & 50’s it has now out lived its design life.

Utilising the opportunity; a wholesale review of facilities across the Bookham Estate has been undertaken by the design team, creating 79 homes in place of 49 existing temporary dwellings. This will include 8 flats, 5 bungalows and 66 houses, whilst also releasing additional green space to the local community.

Tully De’Ath have undertaken flood risk assessments, drainage layouts and SUD’s strategies across all three phases. Ultimately achieving planning permission, community acceptance and local regulative body approvals.

Tully De'Ath look forward to utilising this acquired knowledge to take the scheme through detailed design and on to construction.
