Riverdale House and Riverdale Mill take full advantage of Permitted Development legislations, taking an unused Citi Bank ‘Disaster Recovery Centre’ & adjacent Mill structure, to provide 137 new residential units in the heart of Lewisham, close to a multitude of transport connections.
Tully De’Ath are pleased to have been involved with the development from the initial feasibility studies to current site activities. Including undertaking pre-purchase structural appraisal & constraint advice, building integrity assessments, loading analysis and building control approval.
These works have allowed the existing 4/5 storey RC frame; over part basement, to be potentially extended vertically in light weight structure up to 8 stories above ground with external terraces and landscaped grounds.

Back anaylsis and first principle reviews have allowed the justification of such extensions to the existing structure without the need for costly foundation upgrades or structural strengthening.
The scheme has proved a successful venture in an up-and-coming location and Tully De’Ath continue to review the feasibility of other such existing commercial structures with their development clients, pre and post purchase.
