A PFI contract encompasing nearly 1000 properties


 

This PFI contract encompasses nearly 1000 properties and features the re-provision of 305 existing Lambeth dwellings and the refurbishment of 172 leaseholder properties.

 

As part of the cross subsidy a further 507 apartments and houses for sale, rent and shared ownership will be constructed as will a sports hall, crèche, offices and Café.

The regeneration also includes the installation of a new road, sewer and public realm infrastructure. The entire development will be served by a combined heat and power plant achieving Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3. A new community centre will be built to achieve BREEAM 'excellent'.

 

After the Olympic Village the Park will be the largest newly created public open space constructed in London in the last 40 years.
