A variety of renovation and new build projects
Tully De'Ath have been working with both Worth Abbey and Worth School on a variety of renovation and new build projects. The projects range from a three phased scheme that forms new dormitory accommodation for girls at the school to an extensive refurbishment of the Abbey Church.
The refurbishment of the Abbey's Church has involved alteration to the Choir area and concrete repairs to the structures roof. The buildings unique design has meant that close liaison between Tully De'Ath and the specialist scaffolding contractor has been required to ensure minimal weight is placed on the pre-stressed concrete roof structure during refurbishment works.

To enable redevelopment of the choir area Tully De'Ath developed a set of drawings which detailed a complex arrangement of temporary works and underpinning to re-support the chapel walls while the existing choir floor was lowered.
The work at the school has included engineering design services on both the foundations and the supporting steelwork structure of a new social centre set within a quadrangle of existing buildings and engineering consultancy throughout the build of the new St Marys girls dormitory. A specialist steelwork structure design enabled the use of a large domed ceiling light running the length of the social centre.
Work has been completed on the new St Bedes boys dormitory. This is located within a wooded area and Tully De'Ath undertook a tree survey to enable the Architect to produce a sympathetic design. Piled foundations are employed taking the tree influences into account.
Tully De'Ath's latest project for Worth School, currently under construction, is a new-build two-storey steel-framed structure to house a new changing room and fitness suite that adjoins the existing squash courts and sports hall.
